The Mythos

The Mythos is the Discord bot that runs Elys Astra. It links your Discord account to your Alderon ID, keeps your inventory and Marks, and handles reports, appeals and the rest of the moderation work.

The Mythos are operatives among the stars, neither human nor creature. Kamira is the archivist. Bakarrad keeps the balance. Between them they watch the world and write down what happens in it.

What it does

Account linking: Run /link in Discord and !link in-game to connect your Discord account to your Alderon Games ID.
Economy: Marks and Survival Points, spent in the shop, on the player market and on mystery boxes. Your inventory lives in the bot, not on your dinosaur.
Progression: Mutations, genetics, blessings and roles for your dinosaur. Elder tiers come from migrations, Nomad and Alpha roles can be claimed, and progress carries over between servers.
Moderation: Report rule breaks with /report, appeal with /appeal, and see your own record with /warnings.
In-game commands: Seasonal buffs, migration growth, nest building and teleports, all typed straight into game chat.
Logging: Everything done through the bot is logged, so staff can look back through commands, moderation actions and player history in the admin panel.

Getting started

Join the Elys Astra Discord and accept the rules.
Run /link in Discord. The bot gives you a personal code.
Type !link [your code] in game chat.
That's it. Your inventory, Marks and progression are tracked from now on. The commands page lists everything you can do.
